We need to calculate the rating-average limits for the ratings-restricted leagues. I think we should be consistent and apply that to the Grime Cup too

I'm now proposing that average rating be used across the board. I have amended the proposals document accordingly.

The proposed move to ECF four-digit ‘ratings’ is also sensible, as is the adoption of 4NCL rule 4.3 for board order, here and elsewhere.

Agreed

Incremental timings with our new high tech clocks is an excellent idea, but training still needed on setting them up. One responsible person per club?

That's right. On responsible person per club is a good idea. I suppose it's up to clubs to decide what suits them.

Average ‘grades’ used for all relevant competitions, fine, but are we still calling them ‘grades’?

No. All rules and other documents have been or will be updated to read "ratings" instead of "grades"

I agree with the ‘75 minutes plus increments of 15 seconds’ as our default time control clock settings for most competitions, with the ‘two games’ format of the 500 league having a time control of 30 minutes plus increments of 15 seconds per move for both games.
